I am working with an architect and contractor on a renovation and want to use the opportunity to set up my tank/equipment area just right (including tank/canopy, sumpfugium, auto-topoff, etc.).

I've been away from reefcentral for a long long time, so I don't remember the etiquette. Should I just post my design and ask for critiques? Is there an archive somewhere with diagrams and discussion? I find the search feature either unavailable or unreliable (gives me information overload).

The pieces I have to work with:
38 gallon display w/external overflow
JBJ 2x98 watt PC hood (crappy, loud fans)
10-20 gallon sump with Aqua-C Remora
auto topoff reservoir system plumbed to RO/DI

Am building this into a wall with a very small bathroom on the other side. I am especially eager to build in a drain for the inevitable floods. I stopped reefing a year ago after a catastrophic flood and am just now putting together the money to remodel the house post-flood. I'd like to get this right and love the insights that ReefCentral people have.

I haven't seen any kind of archive. I would just ask what you want and see what you get back. :D
