how do i make finner bubbles?

all im getting is very wet skim mate and always filling up the canister with light greenish water is this ok? filling up canister to top and skimmer shuts down happens every night what am i doing wrong?

lower your water level and cut back on the air that will give you smaller bubbles the higher the water level the wetter the skimming. The foam will work its way up just give it some time.

i just removed the old plastic ball valve and replaced it with a plstic needle valve im getting a better control on the bubbles and skimate.

still having problems controling skimate,one day wet one day dry,are these skimmers that fussy or am i doing somthing wrong?the water level is about half the 1st tube the lower tube.is the correct water level?then i changed the air ball valve for a needle valve im seem to control the air better but im still not getting te dark greenish skimate.please help.thanks
