My star polyps are growing very close to my xenia... Will they be safe touching each other or should I get out the razor blade...

hard to say, but i would probably say the Xenia will eventually lose, or it will move or disldodge on its own

Am I wrong, or are those simply encrusting gorgonian. If I'm right, they should be okay. Star polyps do pose quite a potent sting, as I've got a mushroom, zooanthids, and riccordea losing the battle at the moment.
