Blastomussa growth rate?

hey all,

I just got 2 blasto frags at a local swap and I wanted to know how long it takes for a new polyp to develope. BTW they are Blastomussa merettli(sp)

IME it took a while for mine to start growing, but once they did they started forming new polyps every other week or so.

merelti(sp) tend to grow alot quicker IMO then wellsi as I own both. Easier to take care of and alot easier to aqua culture.

my wellsi took about 1 months to start developing polyps but i bought it as 9 polyps and it now has over 20 and ive only had it for 3 months

i feed mine everyother or everyday so there very well fed

with merelletiSP? they develope slowly but once they pop a few off they develope quickly. wellsi's are odd. the go a while and then suddenly 4 baby polyps then pause and continue.
