Getting banned, pragmatism, etc

Think about what you are losing when you lose access(???) to Reef Central. You lose the advice(could be good, could crash your tank, could cause you to buy into the latest crazy acanthastrea fad and spend your whole paycheck) from people that may or may not be knowledgable. Doesn't seem like a major issue.....and as soon as things calm down......he will be back. Or he can take a lesson from another of our members and just log in as JennaJameson ;-)

Leave the mods alone. They get testy and have to flex their e-muscle from time to time. It will pass.....just ask JennaJameson.

Being the pragmatist that I am, I realize it is much better to give someone in the club a call, or meet out for a beer or two, or buy a couple cases and sit at my house and discuss in person the issues I or others are having. With or without Reef Central our tiny little grassroots club will survive.

That is silly. I abhor violence and am quite offended that you would insinuate that I or one of my compatriots would think of doing such a thing.

I just would like to commend the mods for at least keeping a line of communication open.

I was recently banned from a local sports forum for making ONE marijuana joke. There was no questions asked, just booted. I enjoyed the site but have not gone back since.

With 100,000 members they don't really have to care if people don't like it, because there is such a large user base, but it's a positive thing that they do.
