SI Clowns from Live Aquaria

Has anybody every ordered the Solomon Island percs from Live Aquaria? They dont have any pairs in stock but I thought I would get two small ones and pair them up. I wanted to see if anyone here had any pics of the the SI percs from live aquaria. Seeing as how the price of the SI percs are the same price as the papua new guinea ones I am led to believe that the SI's dont have the nice black coloring between the bars. Could anybody show me some of their percs from LA? Also what are some other good sites to check for nice clownfish?

I have ordered the ones from Papua/New Gune befroe, these clowns are trully awsome, they have the coloration, and I am not kidding, of Onyx clowns. I guess it is because Onyx clowns come from the same place? :P

The SI percs from LA look very much like the pic on their website. Some will have a little less black than in the pic. They won't have continous black between black between the stripes, but some will be close.

For the longest time, SI was one of our only sources of good true percs. PNG is a very new thing, and excitting if you ask me.

The PNGs look exactly like Onyx clowns, but they only cost $16-$20 a piece, waht's the difference?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't Onyx CB variants of true percs? If thats the case, thats the price difference.

Wait, LA.com is selling WC Onyx clown pairs that where harvested in PNG.

Well, I ordered two small SI clowns from them. Will be here tomorrow sometime. Ill post some pics when the come in.

Well, they arrived this morning and they look great. They are fairly small have been swimming together since I put them in so it seems to be a success. We will see how the next few days go but as far as I can tell they are healthy and eating. You were right Travis, I am glad I ordered from them.

Roughly, how big are they? Mine came in around 1/2"-3/4".

I would say about 3/4" for the small one and 1" for the larger one.
