I have had this problem for about 2 weeks now where my Ca readings are 375. Prior to this time period I had been maintaining them at 450 - 475 no problem.
I tested them with 2 different Test kits (Salifert / Red Seas) and both return the same results. I had been dosing about 30ml of Conc Liquid Calcium along with 2 gallons of Kalk each night. This had been enough for my tank for about a year. I since switched over to Turbo Calcium and still adding a whole teaspoon each night along with the 2 gallons of Kalk cant get the level above 375.
Now I have checked both my Alkalinity as well as my Magnesium and they are both stable.
Alk = 5.0 or 14 dkh
Mag = 1475-1500
Any suggestions???
