Dearest forum members , this is my very first posting.

I have one fire clownfish in my tank together with some corals. What happen is this clownfish would always go and seek refuge in my alveopara corals. ( similar to goniopora ... hope i spell it correctly ). As a result , the coral which have open so beautifully in the past one month was not able to do so as it was constantly harassed by my fire clown fish.

Although i have bought some anemone home for this fish , ( which my seller recommend ) , this clownfish don't even bother to visit thes anemone.

Any opinion on what shall i do . I have try to catch the fish and return to the shop but failed.

If you can't catch the clownfish, I'd remove the coral. I doubt the clown will ever give up using it for a host, and that can stress the coral to death. :(

tq for the first to reply .

In ringgit malaysia term , i bought the clown fish for only rm 15.00 but the coral cost me rm 75.00.

I will try to remove the coral at the last resort.

anyway , tq very much for your reply.

What have you done to try to catch the clown? Maybe some folks have suggestions for a new or better method of getting him out. :)
