Hey Guy's
I am going to be setting up an Oceanic 150g with overflows
(tank 60"x24"x24"). This will be a FOWLR, Well maybe only about 75lbs of LR and just enough sand to cover the bottom. As far as skimmers go i was probably either going to go with an ER8-2 or an ASM GX-4 but i didn't know if i should use a wet/dry with this or not? probably hook up a refugium and run a phosban reactor.
one of my main ?'s here is that on most of the wet/dry's they only have a connection for one overflow untill you get to the sizes that are for 250g-400g system. Should i get one rated for say 125g and hook one of my overflows to it and then run the other to my sump with skimmer or what? (there will be an external pump between sump and w/d if i go this route. Also the fuge will probably be above tank.
Like to know how you run your's or what you think about this.
