Well, I lost my first fish with this tank build. Problem is I have no idea where he/she went. It was an Ocellaris Clown. I bought 2 from AC several weeks ago and they have been doing fine. I left Saturday night all was good and sometime Sunday I noticed I had only one left. I looked and looked everywhere and couldn't see any remains... checked all powerheads and everywhere I possibly could. I looked all over the floor.

I don't know if this is out there or not, but how predatory are bristle worms? This is the only thing in the tank that could have possibly eaten it if it either died or was hunted in the tank. I have noticed one bristle worm in the tank that is fairly large. Looks to be about half as big around as my pinky finger.

It bothers me that its gone/dead... but it really bothers me that I don't know where it went or how it happened. I almost wish I had seen it sucked to a powerhead. :P

It could have jumped. Do you have a cat or dog?

I looked all over the floor and around... the cat was outside all night and no dog.

I don't think a bristle worm would harm a clown fish. They seem to be scavengers to me and only eat things that are already dead or food left behind by the fish.
