Baby worms?

I just looked at my tank and noticed something I thought was brown algae, but on closer instection with a magnifing glass they were thousands of brownish red worms crawling all over the glass. Maybe 1/24th of an Inch long if that. Will try to get a pic. soon. But if anyone has info let me know.

Cant get any pics, they are too small, and my camera does not have a micro. :(
