feeding

i have a 1.5" purple pseudochromis and a 1.25" yellowtail damsel in my well established 29 gallon. i lately have only been able to get around to feed them every other day. is that fine. i have been doing this for almost two months and have seen no ill effects and the day that i dont feed them i see them picking at the rocks, probabally eating pods and other small organisims off the rocks. is this fine?

Pods and ect are good for fish but you also need to feed them real fish foods.

yea everyother day is fine if they are in an estabished tank.
