( I posted this in general discussion, but I think this is the best place to have done it...this is my first SW tank!!)
I'm in process of setting up a nano system, and I'm running into difficulties deciding on bulbs.
I'm using 3 NO bulbs (most likely Coralife), and these are my thoughts:
-2 50/50's, 1 actinic or
-1 50/50, 1 actinic, 1 10,000K or
-1 50/50, 1 actinic, 1 20,000K
I'm going for a nice brite look with a touch of blue. However, I don't want it overwhelmingly blue.
What's your experience with these types of bulbs. I'm favoring the combo of 1 50/50, 1 actinic and 1 10,000K. Would the 20,000 K, make it too blue (since it's a deep water bulb) or would it just make it brighter?
