sailfin tang

just added a sailfin to my tank today .he is being pick on the my other two tang a yellow tang and a naso they went at him right at frist but slow down when i turn the light out hope he make it thought the night

David, you did right by turning the light out. It's pretty common for tangs to fight when they are first introduced into an established tang's territory. Keep your eyes on them, but I'll bet they're o.k. tomorrow. I might feed a little extra to get the attention of the yellow and naso away from the new sailfin. HTH.

David, My sailfin got picked on when I added it to the tank with a yellow tang. The yellow even tore his fins pretty bad. I almost pulled him out. Now they hang out together most of the time. I also added a blue hippo (I know call the tang police), and he is doing very well also. He got picked on the first day but not as bad as the sailfin.

how is the hippo eating? is he eating as well as I thought he would?
