Bangaii's and ornamental shrimp compatible?

Are they? Specifically interested in skunk cleaner shrimp.

The cardinals will eat any shrimp they can fit into their mouth. As long as the cleaner shrimp are large (over three and a half inches long), you'll be just fine.

If it fits in a cardinal's mouth, it's a snack.

I added some little cleaner shrimp to a tank with a pair of Banggaii Cardinals and have had no problem. My only advice is to scare off the Cardinals when you put the shrimp in so they don't think its feeding time.

I'm sure you're mistaken the cardinal for something else. I've never heard of cardinals eating shrimp.
