180G set up information???

Hi, I'm planning to setup a 180G oceanic reeftank, can any one out there give me any information or show me the picture of 180G reef tank of plumping, DIY stand and conopy or any advise about equipment.
I'm plan to have MH light setup.Please help!!!

Your 1st Modification should be to build or buy some Durso Standpipes, Megaflow standpipes for the corner water returns. This will silent the overflows assuming Oceanic is still shipping their perforated pipe return with the tank.

Hey Danny,
There is a ton of information available here on RC. Just look around do a lot of searches in the areas you are interested about. Another good source of info here, is tank of the month threads current and all previous issues. Your options are infinate, I am currently assembling a 190 myself, and find this site an invaluble source of information and ideas. GO to the DIY forum and in the beginning there is a ton of DIY plans for just about everything. Load yourself with as much information as you can then come back to these forms with your specific questions, this way you will get more specific answers to better help you get to where you want to go. What is Durso Standpipes, Megaflow standpipes? Where can find the information for this? Do I need a chiller? I think I need to build the stand first but I'm still looking for the information how to do it.

thanks for your advise but I really need more information for my 180gal tanks set up like what size (gal/hr) do i need for return and i do need a new skimer too any idea? I have 2 mag right now mag15 and mag9 can I use them as return pump? can magdrive pump use as external pump? Please haelp and show me your picutre of 180 gal tank, and the plumping on your tank. Thanks a lot

Here is a pic of the back our 180. The return pump in the pic is an Iwaki 40rlxt. The closed loop is a GenX Mak 4. I have since changed the return pump to an Iwaki 100.

I have (2) 1 1/2" durso's in the center overflow.

no build your sump and fuge first that way you can see how wide and tall you need the stand to be
