okay heres the scoop. i have a wet dry HOB on my new 55g fish only tank. there is two settings for the return flow. the first is slower and just dribbles back into the tank. the second is a faster flow and the water pours back into the tank. What the second one does is put tons of small bubbles in the water, which then float around the tank a while before surfacing. so i guess im confused about what setting i should have it on. i think the second setting puts more air in the water, but at the same time i have heard many places that it is bad to have small bubbles in your tank. i have heard it is bad for your fish. what do you think i should set it for??
