Eheim 1262 pump. need hlp pls..

I bought an Ehein 1262 pump. And will use it externally. The problem is that the intake side is 1'' and the output is less than 3/4 in. Can this be modified?? I need both input and output to be 3/4 '' . Can someone pls help me? Gracious..

Just use some conversion hose barb fittings to make it work. I don't know if the Eheim accepts standard PVC fittings, but if they do, then just use a reducer fitting to convert down to 3/4".

With all that said, I would not suggest decreasing down to 3/4" as eheim put it at 1" for a reason. You will decrease flow and possibly cause cavitation or decrease the life of the pump in the long run. I would suggest that you find some way to go w/ the 1" fitting.
