Hi Reefers!
I went snorkelling in North Shore this afternoon. After harvesting a few orange Discosomas, I spotted familiar tentacles sticking out of a hole. It took about 15 minutes to net Mr. Coral Banded Shrimp. Soon after, I spotted another set of tentacles. I left the bottled male outside one hole. Once the sand settled and the bigger wrasses moved on, Mrs. Coral Banded Shrimp came looking for her mate. Well, suffice to say, they're together in the Eclipse 6G. She's expecting!
The former CB shrimp in my 6g tank really didn't want to leave. It flicked it tail and dashed around trying to escape the net. How ironic! When first caught, it lost both claws in the slick net. Again today, it lost both claws in a regular mesh net. But, it's alive and well.
To Trade: 1- 2" CB shrimp (temporarily clawless)
Wanted: 1 very small spanish hogfish or blue/green chromis (preferably =<1.5")
