I have a Bak-pak on a 20H and put a packet of Phos-Zorb in the Hang on filter for help with algae. About half a day later the B-P stopped producing skimmit, and a day later still hasn't prduced any. Could the Phos-Zorb be causing this. Water tests are good and the fish are eating ok and active. Putting the Phos-Zorb in the filter is the only thing I've done lately in the tank.

well, i tried using a phoshate reducing buffer in mt cpr bacpack, and i can say it didnt have enough flow to actually get the phosphate reduced. now, when i took the phapahte stuff, and loaed it into my hot canister filter, within 2 weeks the algae had significantly been reduced.. i havent checked phosphate levels, but i can see its dropped them from the algae standpoint..

my skimmer didnt work as well as soon as i had the nylon with the phos zorb stuff in it... but it still worked
