Can anyone give me ideas on where I can get a good complete calcium reactor for a decent price?

That depends on your idea of what a "decent price" is. I love my MRC, but the whole thing cost over $600

You can probably do a bit cheaper on a korallin system at marine depot. But I also went with the MRC and with the upgrades and shipping I went over 700. but I can't wait to get it and install it!

6-700 not a bad price I guess. But are you saying that koralin is the best around. If so, i will get one..

from what I learned when I was hunting around for info, the MRC is problem free, whatever that means. I do know that the one thing everyone talks about is the customer service from MRC. They actually called me instead of answering my e-mails the second time I sent mail and I was so impressed I ordered. I figured if they spent the time to call me to answer my questions they would probably be just as helpful after the sale. The Korallin will save you money but I have seen mention of problems with them.

Thank you. I am actually pricing now and I am going to order tonight. Are the tank ratings accurate or are the over/under rated like skimmers? If I get the one rated for a 300G tank and I have a 180 would I be fine?

Thanks again for the help..

He recommends the 2 chamber model for anything over 200 gal. So if you like to be prepared for any eventuallity, get the cr2. I bought mine with the controller so it is not going to be overloading calcium.
