What is the best Filtration that i could run on a 125 FOWLR. This is my first attempt at a fish only tank. I know how to successfully keep a reef, but if someone could point me in the right direction for this setup i would appreciate it!

I think that your live rock combined with a good skimmer is about as goodas it gets.

But as far as a sump with BIO-Balls or whatever, they are not needed?

I wouldn't use BB's. Go with at least 1lb per gallon of LR and a big fuge with a big skimmer. HTH.

My thought is to do just like a reef, 125 FOLWR, Full of live rock, with a 75 gallon sump, with a skimmer! What else should i use?

I personally use a 150 gallon refugium packed with macro algae, mangroves, and xenia as one filter.
Under the 240 gallon tank, I use a sump with drip trays for filter pads formechanical filtration.
I also utilize a very large beckett skimmer.
I aslo have lots of LR and sand
