Powerheads keep falling off

I have a maxijet 1200 with a hydor flow attached and 3 ph301 powerheads all the suckers keep falling off the glass and it's whilst i'm out everytime!! result is a nasty mess and poorly animals not good any hints guys???

Suction cups... well, they suck. Do the maxijets come with some sort of hang on tank type clamp?

No :( unamused can't use em anyway i have jewel tank so can't use them.

Maybe epoxy them to a mag-float magnet and hold them in place that way?

I like to crazy glue the Maxi Jets to a mag float. This way you can remove them for cleaning very easily and you dont have to worry about those horrible suction cups falling off.

rest it on a live rock, or pvc. Or find a way to restain the wire, which may help.

Go to Wallmart and get some clear suction cups with the metal hooks in them. Take out the hooks and they work alot better than the kind that come with the maxi-jet. I think I paid a buck for a pack of 3. http://www.suctioncups.com/home_images5.jpg

I hate suction cups as well. I like the mag float concept, except that would be a bunch of money just to secure a ph. Do they have Walmarts in England yet? God i sure hope not. Best bet would be stronger suction cups or cheaper magnets.

Is the glass clean where the PH is put? If the glass has agale on it, it won't stick.

glass is clean it just falls off going to try the mag float idea wire is fastened at mo seems ok. :)
