Im adding my first Tunze this weekend. A tunze 6000. Just one for now and I dont have a controller just yet, but at the cost of these things Im going to take baby steps. Hopefully the corals, especially the acros will appreciate what I am doing for them .

theres someone that has a 7094 controller for sale in the for sale forum... they want like $110 for it..

hard to beat that price IMHO

that isnt a bad price, but I dont know that I would ever have more than 2 turbelles at once, which can be controlled by the single controller at $56 bucks. Is there any other benefit for the 7094 that I am unaware of? Thanks.

If you plan on having more than one stream, I would get the multicontroller because you can set it up to pulse and create all different patterns with your streams. If you for sure know you'll only ever have one stream, then get the singlecontroller.

Just so you know, the 7094 is the older controller. The newer 7095 has more options.

Is there anything on the 7095 other than moonlights that the 7094 does not have? I have 2 pindrop moonlights already on their own timers and would not need that functionality.

i just put one in my tank! took out the three maxijet 900

the 6000 with the 7095 multicontroller.
the flow is directed from the back corner to the middle of the front, and it turned that area barebottom!

and this is after turning the power way down on the pump, as well as setting the pulses to 30% and 80% six seconds apart!

the advantage of the multicontroller is that it came with a night mode and a moonlight.

i don't know what the night mode actually does, though it says that it lowers the power when the lights go off....

Heres a link to the Tunze forum showing the differences.
