So I got a new acrylic tank and I decided to paint the back blue. No problem there. But, some of the paint got on the front and sides of the tank. So, to remove it, I used rubbing alcohol. BIG MISTAKE! Now there are smudges in the acrylic. I tried using soap and water to buff them out, but its not working. Do you know of anyway to remove these smudges and imperfections?

Thanks!

You could try some Meguiar's Plast-x, It's a polishing compound for automotivs plastics. Try it on a scrap acrylic piece first, I don't know for sure if it will work!

It is usually used for convertable rear windows, headlights, etc.

You can usually find it at Target.
