Last week I ordered a moonlight I had never seen but looked pretty good on ebay. Today a received a 54"box. Inside it was packed with styro peanuts and a 41" long shipping tube. In the tube was the light I ordered. I was already impressed with the packaging. The light was covered with bubble wrap and 3 stryo disks around that so the light was centered in the tube.
The 32" light has 25 LED lights. They are 3/4" long and 3/8" wide. It comes completely assembled with a 6 foot power cord, in a glass tube with rubber end caps & 3 - 1 3/8" rubber suction mounts. It is advertised as waterproof and has the name "Odyssea Blue Moon" on the light. I am very impressed wityh the quality and it only cost $29.95 plus shipping.
I am waiting for my new T5's from ReefGeek and will install all of this . I will keep posts on how these look after installation.

I was looking at this unit.

Any pics?

I was worried that it would be too bright because of so many lights per the length.

I just went in and placed them on top of my tank and they do not seem to bright. It really looks good with a shimmering effect from the current. I was actually thinking about mounting them at water level. I will be experimenting.

I was just thinking....the 32" model wont span across my 36" tank. Not sure how I would mount them...the back of my tank has an overflow built in so I can attach it to the back wall.

thoughts?

They have different sizes. I ordered this one because I already have a 12 inch moonlight by another manufacturer. It doesn't look bad just in the middle either. I do not have any corals on the ends of my tank (48") so I have about 40" of area I would like lit. I am thinking of attaching it to the glass across the top of my tank or possibly right at the water line across the front. The fixture would be pretty much invisible with the trim on my tank and the custom hood.
