When doing direct spot feedings for certain corals what is everyone using? Plastic pipettes? Turkey basters?

Just curious...

Both. It depends how deep they are and/or if I want to get my hands wet.

One day I use cyclopeeze mixed with vitamins, then 2 days later I use brine and vitamins...So far so good. 2 times a week I feed phytoplex to the tank.

Oh you mean the utinsil...I got a syringe with a piece of rubber tube at the end instead of a needle. That way I don't have to get my hands wet.

pipettes for my fish and a turkey baster for the coral.

I use a syringe I recieved from Marine Depot for acclimating fish. I attached an airline to the end (fit perfectly) mix up some food in a small glass of tank water and suck it up into the syringe through the airline. You can make it as long as needed, it bends, and is the best way IMO.

I use a turkey baster. Makes it easier to direct the food. I blend up a mix of cyclopeeze, marine plankton, ground shrimp, ground silverside, bio-plankton, ground mussel, clam etc and mix that with a little water from the tank. I shut off the pumps and go to work.

Smells nasty BTW ;)
