I'm moving to a new house that has a well. Do I need to do anything different than using the RO?

Just tagging along. I also have a well and purchase all my RO/DI water. Have been hesitant to purchase a system as I am worried that my sewage lagoon cannot handle the extra volume of waste water produced by one.

My tank is only 75g so I don't have the waste that you do.

I had my well water put through comprehensive testing before purchasing the house. Other than Ca (~375ppm) there was relatively little pollutant (another 25ppm, mostly of Mg at 19ppm). If you're purchasing a house with a limestone filtered well, your water may be similar and an RO unnecessary except for mixing SW. As a top-off, I've found that the fresh well water out of the tap is really just about as good as dosing "Aragamilk" or similar Ca additive.

Thanks. I'm having the well tested this week.

Make sure the test is comprehensive. If you don't specify, they'll usually only check for potability. This means they'll look for things like bacteria, arsenic, lead, mercury, and possibly radon, specifically without running a broad-spectrum analysis.
