View Full Version : Can you identify this worm by decription?

Worm was 1 1/4" long. The front 1/4" was red, the body was black and the tail had a red tip. I looked like a regular earth worm but lived in saltwater and smaller.

Probably a polychaete worm. :D

That sounds like those little generic bristle worms with the red/black/red pattern

I found this worm in my quarantine tank that I have zoo frags in. Is there anything I need to do after I removed the worm before the zoos go in the display tank?

if it is a bristle worm(which is good) then keep it.they are detrius eaters.

good job on the quarntine method!!!!
