yes, 6-8" At least that's what I've seen.

Yep. Most LPS do. I was really surprised to see the 8" ones my merulina had - which although isnt a LPS - still impressive by any standards!

yes, as mentioned above, but if you keep them in a lower flow area you may not see them at all. i've got a hammer and a branching frogspawn in my 10g that are in low flow areas and i've never seen either one extend any sweepers.

how would u describe low flow? im going to put him in an area just a gentle flow

whats a sweeper, one tentacle that sticks out really far?

my hammer does that, wasnt sure what it was doing

Sweepers generally (not always) come out at night. They are generally long, sometimes clear tenticles with a stinging head. I have lots of frogspawn, hammers and bubbles but have yet to see them sweep.

ya, sometimes they send out multiple tiny little stingers to kill any corals in there area
