6500 k 175 watt bulbs MODULk ?

are there such thing?if so can you give me a name of one i am looking for one for a frag tank?also is it true that a 6500 bulb will make nuiscence algae (HA,slime etc) grow faster/rapidly than say a 14k bulb?

Just look on an online vendor's website. Iwasakis are 6500 but I'm not sure if they come in 175watts.

I don't think lower kelvin=more algae. For a while, in the 90's, all our tanks were lit with 6500k bulbs. Keep your nutrients in check and algae should be a problem.

Algae tend to grow better around 5700-6500K
