When you use the salifert test kit for ammonia, and you have readings of 0, does the test tube have the yellow color or is the tube color almost completely clear?
If you do get the yellow color, does it mean that your ammonia is continually increasing or does it always stay that way (versus it always reading with almost a clear color on a normal basis)?
After my tank was all cycled and I didnt have anything in the tank except live rock, my readings were not detectable (almost clear color) now that I have more livestock the color is yellow but still reading 0 according to the salifert chart.
Wondering if yellow is a normal stable color or if I should expect it to get back to an almost clear color.
Thanks,
