Hi All,

I am kind of curious, who are the club officers for 2005/2006?

Dave

:eek1: :smokin: :bum:  In your absence, DAVE BURGMAN WAS ELECTED PRESIDENT! :eek1: :smokin: :bum:

Just kiddin'! I was at the elections meeting. There was a little change, but mostly the same officers as last year. President, Treasurer, Membership, Programs, if I remember, were all unchanged. There is a new webmaster and there were some other offices maybe moving around.

Check http://c-sea.org/officers.html for an update.

There may be a June meeting--I was just talking to John Janda last night. He just returned from Hawaii and may be giving a photo presentation of his scuba dives. I expect he'll announce the date asap.

Election results:

President: John Janda
Vice President: Alan Harrell
Treasurer: Paul Pfingsten
Secretary: Carole McLaren
Membership Chairperson: Stan Dannemiller
Program Chairperson: Peter Chefalo
Raffle Chairperson: Chuck Stottlemire
Newsletter Editor: Chris Ritsert
Webmaster: Paul Cimino

Hawaii diving sounds like it would be a winning presentation. I'm looking forward to it, either in June or at least in the fall.

What do we do at a meeting? Usually starts with informal meet and greet then we do a business meeting as short as possible, we then have some kind of program ie speaker, workshop, photo presentation, etc. we have a break for refreshments and raffle ticket sales, general chit chat, we will have our members raffle and then our livestock raffle then any unfinished business and close for the evening. Hope you can make it we always enjoy seeing new faces. Regards John

All of the livestock at the June meeting was from Salty Critter. Dan spoils us, doesn't he? :D

Well, It probably won't be ready to frag for a long while.

The livestock donated by the local shops to CSEA is very impressive.

I think we should all show our support/gratitude by only buying from these shops and not some fly by night warehouse e-tailer. I see a lot of people here on RC complain that all their LFS are terrible. I am really glad we don't have that problem in our area.

I agree with that sentiment. Dan has a great shop that deserves support.
