I just added a Coral Beauty Angelfish to my tank and my YT is acting strange. The YT keeps Backing into the Angel. There is no sign of aggresion on eithers part (i.e. biting or chasing). It is very passive on the YT's part and the Angel doesnt seem unpleased. Is this a normal reaction to a new addition never seen it before.

The yellow tang has a white spike/barb on its tail and it is probably trying to show the Angelfish who the boss is. This is the way the yellow tang protects itself. They will probably eventually get along fine as long as the tank is big enough for both.

ahhh interesting never knew that and it has seem to dwindle in just the hour they have been together.
