I got a 1/3HP JBJ Arctica and just set up today.
I changed the current temp on chiller's display to match the temp on my lifeguard digital temp. but later both temps didnt match.
i keep matching the temp of the chiller to lifeguard's temp.

what is wrong? which one is accurate?

If the difference is about or less than 1/2 degree I wouldn't worry. Especially if it's not doing it all the time and if most of the time the temps match. Sometimes mine is off about .3 degree but eventually it corrects.

get the third one to compare. I would say the JBJ because it costs more (but it doesn't mean that it's more accurate).

The chiller might have been on and the water inside the chiller was colder than the tank water as it was chilling the water. Mine does that all the time. I have the 1/3 also.
