Oceanpro is located in Chino. I would go there a pick it up so you can choose the rock that you want. mike the owner is awsome to deal with

I have never ordered TBS, but from what i see there is alot of life on it. Just to bad we live on the West Coast and they are on the East Coast cause of shipping. Ocean Pro carries alot of different styles of rock and are local so no shipping cost.

save money and get 5lbs of live rock and then get dead base rock. for 1.00 a lb soon the dead rock will become live with everything the live rock has.

yea, i had a few pieces of LR about 10 pounds, and then I bought a lot of oceanpro's fiji base rock, now it's full of coralline algae and life. I picked it up, and chose the pieces I wanted.

I'm not big on TBS rock, I don't like random hitchhikers in my reef and most mantis shrimp come from carribean rock

I have some seed sponge for you if you want sponge. It grew from my 100% www.oceanproaquatics.com rock. I get premium fiji, it's so fresh it takes about half the usual curing time so more life stays on the rock.

imo opinion TBS is overpriced not worth the money you pay for it jmo. if you want a variety of life start a thread up here in the socal forum and ask everyone for a cup of sand and some cheato or halimeda i am sure alot of peeps will help with this.

OK... new here to the site. Just set up my first salt tank (55g) on Saturday. Today I "cherry-picked" 6 different styles of rock for my tank.
Their display tank has different styles of rock and it is awesome. There is nothing like reaching in and grabbing your own rock for a completely custom look. I recommend them to anyone.

You could spend hours picking their brain if you're local... luck me, I am!
