Need help with sump design

I need some advise on the design of my sump / refugium. I have a 90gal tank with a 1.5 hole drilled on one of the ends. My original plan was to have the first chamber be the refugium, the next be the sump w/ skimmer then baffles with the water being returned by an AMP3k. The problem with this design is all the refugium water will pass through the skimmer. Any suggestions?

I was thinking of building my own sump as well. I have been looking for some designs but I haven't found any that I liked. Jeff, do you think that you could send me those pics and info.

Nice! Where does the skimmer go? Is it external? I haven't decided if I want a MyReef or a Euro-Reef skimmer yet. If I went with a Euro-Reef which is an in sump skimmer, it looks like it could go in the "flow" chamber.

BigLar, The skimmer can go into the sump area, you can extend that to whatever size your set-up requires.
