Okay, the transfer is complete but there are still a few things to work out. Like my canopy has been delayed till Thursday! :(
I decided to go Bare Bottom. It doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would. I can't even tell unless I look real hard. All the rock has been cooked so it looks a little colorless but the coraline will come back in a few months.
Anyway, here are some pics.

Why did you cook the rock (sorry if this was in another thread)?

Previous algae problems. It was driving me insane. I couldn't figure out where all the nutrients were coming from. I was not over feeding, & using RO/DI water & all .....the other stuff that you get asked when you have algae. It turned out that it was the detritus in the rock itself that was feeding all the algae. I've seen the sludge that comes out of 5+ years old rock. The pores/holes get clogged with detritus. Yeah it was in another thread. SeanT started it titled "Rock Cooking does it work?"

Make sense. You plan to avoid this with the bare bottom setup I assume?

I hope so I figure as long as I keep it clean it should be fine. I used to feed heavy when I first started. Now my fish are still fat - they're just not lazy anymore.
I'll post some more pictures when I get the canopy.

Here are some Photos taken yesterday. The tank seems to be doing good except I need an acrylic safe magnet!
Anyway, I think a re-aquascape might be in the works for the near future. But it's going to stay as it is until I get some time.

I'm not going to attach the photos but just include links instead since I did not resize them.

That's a nice little setup. I really like the arch on the right side; I wouldn't change that.
