Any ideas what this is, its at the back of a dark cave, so I am afraid this is the best shot I can get. its about 2" acress and its tentacles look as if its stinging things, small things I cant see. not shown very well in the pic but its opaque

It may be an anemone of some sort. You can get a clear shot by using a stand or something else to stabilize the camera.

Sorry, I can't get there from here, for certain. It may be an anemone, or type of coral, but.... :(

Romunov's suggestions are well-taken. I need a better image to work with.
