Just saw this deal at Pacific reef: I think the deal is good up to June 1st: I was thinking getting a 1/4hp for my hundred gallons, will it be enough or should I go with the 1/3hp? I am kinda on a budget too.

1/10Hp 399.99
1/5Hp was 606.99 --> now 539.99
1/4Hp was 739.99 --> now 639.99
1/3Hp was 809.99 --> now 709.99

there was a group buy that ended last week you could have gotten the 1/3 for $600.00 and the 1/4 was $530 I think. BTW I'd go with the 1/4 for the 100gal tank.

1/4 $530
1/3 $600


I'd call pet town in long beach to see if they will still give you that price, I think the owner got a few extra after the group buy.

More information regarding the chillers at Pacific Reef. I was there yesterday and Brian said that he would match prices, even online prices for the chillers. Just bring in the ad/proof of price.

1/4 hp will be enough, i have a 115 gallon system, with a 1/4 hp, and it needed to be taken down 10 degrees, its fine, its enough hp.

I was told the same story, so I would say they will match the price if anyone brings the ad....., LMK if anyone has a good ad to share.

Not directly, but same family, I believe. Either way, PR can usually spank anyone's JBJ prices, but usually doesn't have to because they are already the lowest :)

Give Circle Pet a call from the group buy, i believe they purchased more chiller than needed and they may be able ot hold the group buy.
