That's when you thought it was a good idea to use hot pink colored gravel as your reef substrate, and substituted table salt in your water change.

Hey, don't laugh... I have pink coloured gravel as substrate in one of my tanks. And I've actually used table salt in water changes (the non-iodized variety).
