Ponds are a great way to enjoy fish outdoors. Looks like your off to a good start. How deep did you dig it? Falls look great. And good thinking adding the skimmer now. Did you add a bottom drain? I wish I would have when I built mine. I say the key to keeping healthy koi is a good uv light.

Eric I have a post @ gardenweb.com because I am closeing my pond. I have a couple koi left and a ton of koi/goldfish hybrids I need to get rid of. Let me know if your interested. I just trying to get rid of them cheap, not make big money. I'm more than willing to trade for frags or equipment.

Is it time for a pond party yet or do we have to wait for the water to clear? :)

Chuck taught a class at the house he had 8 landscapers work on it with him
Pond/ check out my tank party sounds like a good time. I'll keep everyone posted about that
Doody how large are your koi, Im interested in some smaller ones 6 inch and under. I could buy them or trade for frags.

Heck with the koi go for a gator.

Maybe it would keep the pesky neighbor kids out of your yard?

How many gallons is the pond? We would like to put one in also.

I'm guessing 1000-1200, not massive but not small. Right in the middle. I'd highly reccomnd Aquatic Creations, Chuck. His prices are around half of what other places charge and the quality is much higher.

Nice, I've got all kinds of acros. We should set up a day and you can come over and check out the tank. I can cut frags right then for you or give you some green for the fish. I like the first one and the 3rd one.

Well now I know who might be able to use that 12 pound bag of koi food I won last weekend. Maybe I could bring it to the C-SEA meeting in September. Anyone know the date yet? The regular schedule would conflict with MACNA.
