Please Help..Refugium setup

I just added a refugium to my tank...I added a black and white sand stuff but shop said it was mud so we can call it mud to the tank.(refugium)..i then let it sit for a few hours then i turned on my pump..now my tank is milky white...please help

sounds like just fallout from the new addition of reef mud. I wouldn't worry about it. It'll settle in a day or less.

Turn off the pumps and let it sit for a few days.
