I got mine at Lowes for sand. I have some stuff up for sale soon here. I'll start a seperate thread when I get some prices. Items include, overflow box, remora, mag7.

Do you think the overflow would work on a 65 gal. Jay?I want a skimmer that goes in the sump..not a hang-on.I have even been toying with the idea of putting the old so-so skimmer from my reef on the new tank, and getting a good skimmer for the reef.Anyone have some good recommendations? What's the name of the off-shoot company of Euro-reef?Supposed to be just as good, but with thinner acrylic?

Silicate in sand isn't a big deal. Randy Holmes even showed that. I used silicate quikcrete pure white fine sand. I love it and it is white as the beach.

Were you talking about my overflow? I used it on my 44. If you think you want to use it, you can give it a try. If you like it, keep it and maybe down the road, toss me a frag since you did the same for me. It was rated for 700 gph. I have the original sponge but I had mine tuned so I didn't ever need it.

Waterfaller, I believe the Euro-reef knockoff is an ASM I believe.

ASM is the one. I use the G3 and it is really amazing. I've never used a Euroreef but I just can't fathom dropping 6 to 800 on a skimmer.
