That is the actual color of the blastos etc. I had a time with this camera and my 20ks...

That purple digi is really nice. What color is it under 10K's? Where did you get it. I think I may have to get one.

Thanks, they do look sweet...

JR, it looks about the same. It was just as purple/blue out of the tank, but just cause you have the lights doesn't mean your gonna have the color. You need low nutrients, flow, a constant level of ca/alk, etc.

I think I have the low nutrients taken care of. I way overskim, same skimmer as you but on a 55g. For flow I only have 2 660 powerheads and my return is a mag 7 on a 3/4 sea-swirl. I will be getting a Shuran Ca reactor in the near future. Was going to order a couple of days ago but had a couple house problems arise. In another week or 2 I will order. Right now just dosing and hating it, clams really like the Ca.
Watch out, I'll hold you to your word about the frag. Let me know when it's big enough to snap a piece off.

What Ca reactor are you running? Any pro's or con's?

Well I actually Diy'd mine. Not to brag, but this thing works great. I had been looking at Geo's reactor and talked to Kevin about the reverse flow, flowing from the bottom of the media up and back around, and I went with a mag 350 pushing up through the bottom of the ca media.
