Does the "5 watt per gallon" rule pertain to power compact fluor. lights for keeping corals? :confused:

The watt/gallon rule isnt used much anymore. What type of corals are you planning on keeping? What is the height of your tank?

My tank is 65 gals 36x18x24, I bought a satalite pc light with a 10,000k/460nm acintic bulb. I would like to start with soft corals and then go on from there. I,m still doing alot of reading to learn a much as possible before getting corals. I,m new to saltwater so I'll wait at least 6 months to get the tank established first.
