Any way to quiet down the venturi on a euroreef?

Is there a way to quiet down the venturi on a euroreef skimmer? It is making a gurgling sound. Other than that it is very quiet. Thanks for any info.

Quite annoying sound huh?

I made a muffler for mine, used some 1.5" pvc with two caps, drilled and tapped one cap for a hose barb fitting and drilled small holes in the main pvc pipe. Put some filter floss in the tubing and your good to go.
