Hey all,
Time to replace my bulbs. I know I still want a 65w actnic but what should I do for the other? I current keep mainly lps but do have acros that are doing fine under my current lights. I am not sure what the Satelite came with. It's 65w x 2. Which would be better for sps, but still be ok for lps? I don't know what all this Calvin stuff is or if it even matters with PC lights. Thanks again!

Andrew

Hello Andrew!

The kelvin rating equates to the color of the bulb. 6700k is quite yellowish whereas the 10k is whiteish/yellow. 14k is white with some blue and then 20k is very blue.

so would atcnics be considered around the 20k range since they are very blue? or are they a totally different thing? Also, does a lower K grow coral better?
