Well after missing the hatch of my Ocellaris pair's first nest, I knew the eggs would most likely hatch on the 6th or 7th day (they hatched on the 7th day the first time), so when the eyes were bright silver and I couldn't see much in the way of yolk in the eggs, I figured tonight was the night of the hatch.

...Not so much :o . After spending an hour or two leaning over my tank attempting to catch baby clowns, I now am the proud owner of a larva tank full of pods and worms  .

I guess there's always tomorrow night :p .

Tonight is the night!:bounce3: How long after lights out should I begin looking for larva in the tank?

Give them a minimum of 2hours. Make sure all pumps are off though!!!! :D I suggest a short fishing pole and a case of beer...

Thanks Atticus, judging by the amount of time it took me to capture worms and pods yesterday, it'll be a loooong night.:p

It is much more exciting to collect clown fry so time goes faster. Use a dim light to attract them and it isn't too bad.

Soon enough, soon enough. At least we know what the silly worms are not fry, eh?

Pretty funny with the worms, the way they gravitate to the light is like in the alien movies when there is an abduction.

So does that make us aliens?
