cool, i read somewhere that someone said they were similar to the sun polyp where you have to target feed it.

You can probably target feed them as with most paly.

you don't have to target feed them.
I have had some for over two years and have never fed them directly and they have exploded in numbers. I started with one and now have probably 25.

Thanks for the clarification. I started with a few in my tank, and they have been reproducing. I have never target fed them either. BTW - did you get some that were in the aquarium at UC Davis?

I've never heard of them called Haitian Sun Polyps but they are exactly like those. Minh, yes I got them from Davis. Toonen gave them to me about 3 years ago, about 6 months before he moved to Hawaii.

those look like what we call cinnamon polyps. They are native here is s florida as well as the caribean.

Target feeding isn't needed for sun coral either, I have three frags of orange and one of black that are all doing real well without individual target feeding.
